Bonnie Devlin

          Bonnie Devlin just completed a 5-year musical project involving UU drummers that culminated in a high-powered CD called “The Drum and The Chalice”.  This CD is a celebration of drumming from around the world, featuring styles from Haiti, Africa, Cuba, Puerto Rico, India, Indonesia, along with drum improvisations and meditations.  Created by UU’s for UU’s and other ‘kindred spirits’, this CD can be used for worship, multicultural education, meditations, and general celebration.  Future proceeds from this CD will be donated to the UU Musician’s Network.
          Bonnie Devlin is a UU Minister and also an award-winning world percussionist and recording artist.  She is still the only woman to be initiated as a Drum Master (Huntogi) in the Haitian Vodoun religious tradition.  Her life is devoted to promoting multicultural awareness through music, the arts and spirituality.
