Organist at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, is the artist heard on the CD "Tennesee Valley B. Rule Organ Opus 8" which is the first recording of the historic, and newly restored pipe organ at this church.Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. Original components of the 2-manual/25-rank mechanical action tracker organ date back to 1891. The organ has been restored and rebuilt by B. Rule & Company of New Market, Tennessee.
Performing is organist Theresa Pepin on selections chosen to showcase the versatility of the instrument. Recording took place in June and September of 2002. The producer was Jonathan Miller and the engineer was David Hendricksen. Repertory includes that of French, English, German, American and International composers for the organ.
Funding for the performance was provided, in part, by a professional artist support grant under an agreement with the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
