Miriam Smith
A Unitarian artist/potter in Ontario, Canada, enjoys producing distinctive, one-of-a-kind pottery, and custom requests. Each hand-crafted piece of pottery reflects her individuality and imagination, and is useful and different from any other piece that she has made.Miriam has exhibited at the Koffler Gallery, and the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Arts in Toronto, Jewish Museum in New York, and others.
Miriam fires her pottery whenever she has a full kiln. Usually, she has several pieces made ahead. We do not know in advance what she will create, except for custom orders. For completion dates of chalices and custom orders, we check with her.Specific prices are listed for those chalices currently on hand. Prices for the rest of the chalices are not listed because they were each one-of-a-kind, created in the past. In general we can say prices range from $55 for the smallest simplest chalices, to $295 for the larger chalices with more complex shapes and/or glazing details.
