Is an artist who was taught by many generous and talented people. She does some commissioned work, some installations, some group shows and occasionally sells her work at activist gatherings and craft sales. She also teaches ceramics at her own studio .

Harmony usually works in clay, and enjoys using it because of its adaptability to her hands, tools and ideas. She finds great flexibility in it but doesn't limit herself to it when she needs to use other materials to communicate her ideas. She finds throwing on the wheel to be a meditative and relaxing process.

Working with other people, (such as other artists, children, "non-artists", friends, and groups of people organized to create a more just society) has been helpful, rewarding and essential to her creativity. These experiences allow her to learn a great deal about herself, about making art, and about involving herself in the context within which she works.

Harmony has been a Unitarian Universalist ever since she was old enough to think, and is happiest when she can connect art, creativity and spirituality.

About the Meditation Bowl: It is made of a red stoneware clay body and is glazed both inside and out. There are eight religious symbols on the outside of the bowl, representing world religions. Each of them is hand designed on a tile and attached to the bowl. The bowl can be made taller or wider but cannot be any smaller than 16" x 10". Also, different glazes can be used to vary the color scheme. Variations:
*   Bowl with one tile, (your choice of
     one of the eight symbols).
*   Or, flat tile of your choice of
*   symbol(s).
