Barbara Smith-Thomas
Learned to sew on her grandmother's Singer treadle sewing machine, and has been sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, and most recently, quilting, ever since.Her idea of entertainment is to spend a few hours in a fabric shop admiring fabrics and trims. Making stoles allows her to take home some of those fancy fabrics and make them into something pretty and useful.
A few years ago she retired to the Pacific Northwest, where she splits her time among several activities: active member of her local Unitarian Universalist Congregation; caring for a home and garden; volunteering in the local community; and playing with textiles. Also, spending time with two of the world's most adorable grandsons.
Length is measured from the back of the neck, and down one side of the stole.
