Conan Hall

After his Mom gave him a stained glass Chalice, from a fund-raiser at her Fellowship, Conan got the idea of designing and developing a way to make high-density concrete Stepping Stones with a chalice design in them.

The chalice in double circle, at the right, is molded in the concrete, then painted after it cures.  The chalice design in the stepping stone beneath it, is created by embedding the stain glass pieces in the concrete before it cures.  .

This is an exciting time for the whole family because, as he says, "It's thrilling to watch something you create blossom into bricks and mortar (literally)."

The stepping stones are also in honor of his children's "Grandma Cleo."  She loved working in her garden and instilled a mid-western work ethic that he and his wife follow daily.

This special memorial for a beloved pet, is created from a photo you send to Conan.  The image is transferred onto a clay tile, then fired.

The tile is encased in the high density concrete, with  inlaid ceramic hearts and a border of colored stones to complete each one-of-a-kind memorial.
